Mary Ann visited the the Texas Coastal Region summer 2017 and, loved it so much, she decided to move to the area permanently. On an excursion, she visited Rockport and fell in love with this quaint coastal town. She decided on Key Allegro Real Estate because of all the friendly people who work there.
Mary Ann began her real estate career in 1989 in the north east Texas area. Her first year, she was voted “Rookie of the Year”. She worked in sales for a few years and, then, decided to branch out and learn some of the other areas in the real estate field. She went to work as a Mortgage Loan Originator and enjoyed this career while keeping her real estate license active. On a skiing vacation to New Mexico, she was offered a job for a major land development company, The Bluegreen Corporation. She accepted and worked in land sales at a large development in Ruidoso, New Mexico. She was later transferred to the Texas Hill Country where another developer recruited her to manage two of their new developments. It was during this time when she got her real estate Broker’s license. After working long hours for several years, she decided to move back to north east Texas to raise her son, Zac, near family. When she moved back, a local title company hired her to be an Escrow Officer. Although she enjoyed this career, she wanted to spend more time raising her son, so, after a few years, she went back to real estate and has worked for Texas Farms and Ranches up until last year when she made the decision to re-locate.
Mary Ann is thoroughly enjoying the Texas coast. Her son Zac recently graduated from high school and lives with her while he is working on his college degree. Last summer, she met her fiancé, Joe. They enjoy family outings at the beach and are avid fisherman and love camping and water activities. Attending area festivals is another favorite.
